Hi guys,

After yoyo-ing up and down for almost 6 months now, I decided to join Weight Watchers. I've heard so many success stories that I just had to try it.

As many of you know, the new Weight Watchers system will let you eat fruit without a limit for 0 points, which I think is ridiculous. I will stick to eating no more than 2 - 3 pieces of fruit daily.

I'll post updates here on how I'm doing, what I eat and how much weight I'm losing.

I have 30 day points and 35 extra week points. I want to try to avoid using the week points as much as I can. 1 point = about 40 kcal.

Weight Watchers tells you to only weigh yourself once a week at the meeting, but since I'm pretty much addicted to the scale I'll try to weigh myself no more than 2 or 3 times a week.

English is not my mother tongue, sorry if there are mistakes in my posts!

So, here's my first day:

Day 1:

For breakfast I had a wrap with chicken and tea with a little bit honey. As snacks I had a surimi stick, a glass of buttermilk and apple sauce. For dinner I had low-fat minced meat, lettuce, some mashed sweet potato and 4 pickles. I have 5 day points and 35 week points left and it's 20:00 now. Maybe I'll have an apple or some more surimi sticks before I go to bed tonight. Anyway, today was a pretty good day. I wasn't hungry at all, I feel good and I'm very motivated. I really hope this works!

Day 2

Today was ok. I used all my day points and 2 week points but I also count points for the fruit so that's why (I just write down other stuff instead of the fruit so it counts more points). I walked 3 km.

Of course I couldn't stay away from my scale, so I weighed myself and I lost1,3 lbs  (0,6 kg) since yesterday.

I also really like the part of the app where you can share pics, recipes and your stories with other users. It's like Instagram but you really get lots of support from others.

Day 3

I can hardly believe it, but I lost another 0,4 kg (0,9 lbs) which means that I lost 1 kg (2,2 lbs) in 2 days. It's important to mention that I never lose weight as easy as this and I barely exercise. This amount of weight usually takes about 2 weeks for me to lose.

For breakfast I had a slice of rye bread with some hummus and smoked beef. For lunch I had a kaiser roll and some chicken breast. For dinner I had a piece of chicken leg. In between these meals I had a glass of coconut water and 7 or 8 pickles. I still have some points left so I'm probably going to have some fruit or apple sauce before I go to bed.

Day 4

I don't feel like writing a lot because I'm pretty upset about some stuff that happened today, but I thought I'd just share my weightloss:

I lost 0,3 kg (0,7 lbs) which brings my total now to -1,3 kg (2,9 lbs)

Day 7

Quick update: I started WW exactly one week ago and lost

1.5 kg (3.3 lbs)

and I'm definitely not gonna stop. I like how I still can eat my own food and lose weight. Haven't tried any of their recipes yet, maybe I'll do that later. I've stopped weighing myself everyday, I do it every 2 or 3 days now. I'm curious to find out how much weight I'll lose in the second week. I'm guessing it won't be as much as the first week but we'll see.

Update week 2:

Weightloss is definitely getting slower, but it's still alright. This week, I lost 0,8 kg (1,7 lbs), so 2,3 kg (5 lbs) in 2 weeks. I'm already getting comments about how I look like I lost weight, so that's really motivating me to keep going!

how do you follow ww? I eat my daily amount of points and just take a small part of my weekly points. But I have stopped losing weight three weeks ago. My current weight is 63 kg and I am wondering if anyone with a lower weight than mine still managed to lose weight with ww?!

I would really appreciate an answer! Thank you :)
